Momma gave me Ned's head Wrapped in a bedspread Three miles from Hampstead Swingin' off pig lead Couldn't eat cornbread Couldn't even drop dead Waiting for the bloodshed Fighting with some Dragon's head Beavis and Butthead Riding on a bobsled Half a pound of monkey bread Soaked up in sudafed Chewin' on some cheese spread Super heavy hash head Lying on a bunk bed Doesn't know he's brain dead Kids go unfed Crying in the woodshed Daddy says "Go to bed. Don't play with Ned's Head!" Could have been a tiger if your momma hadda breastfed But you just go to bed Don't play with Ned's Head Please just go to bed Don't play with Ned's Head

People said there’s a clown in the White House They say a clown lived in Downing Street too But these men are not clowns they are fascists And our choices can stop what they do. We could hate like they hate, but we choose not to We could hate like they hate but we choose not to We could hate like they hate, put up walls and close the gates We could hate like they hate, but we choose not to I don’t brag about my sins, I just confess them I don’t brag about my sins, I just confess them I don’t brag about my sins, shaking both my double chins I don’t brag about my sins, I just confess them I could vote away your rights but I choose freedom I could vote away your rights but I choose freedom I could vote away your rights, make you lie awake all night I could vote away your rights but I choose freedom They divide us all by race, but we’re united They divide us all by race, but we’re united They divide us all by race, smash their boots into your face They divide us all by race, but we’re united I could lie and I could cheat but what would I win? I could lie and I could cheat but what would I win? I could lie and I could cheat, like the Westminster elite I could lie and I could cheat, but what would I win? I could hate like they hate, but I choose not to I could hate like they hate but I choose not to I could hate like they hate but I choose to be your mate I could hate like they hate but I choose not to.

I’m keeping my pictures of you To smile at when I'm feeling blue The news of our break-up smudged everyone's make-up But we had a chuckle or two. I've hundreds of pictures of you The time you passed out on the loo And that night that I made ya dress up as Darth Vader My light-saber still smells of you. I’m keeping my pictures of you The day we played “Twister for Two” And the look in your eyes, as my beard brushed your thighs I’m keeping that picture of you! I'm keeping my pictures of you Though I could get some cash for a few Your face in this piccy Is hot, wet and sticky It might raise a shilling or two. I'm keeping my pictures of you And I trust that you're doing so too For the end of this tale Is mutual blackmail I'm keeping my pictures of you (for the court case) I'm keeping my pictures of you (look at your face!) I’m keeping my pictures of you!

about

Four little songs about the way we live now. Y'know, stuff that doesn't make any sense, the politicians "we" keep voting for, the persistence of digital media and the much bemoaned blockchain.

These are the words and ideas that float around in my head, and from time to time get written down in some semblance of order and set to traditional tunes or blues.

This is a totally solo project, all the noises have been chosen, made, recorded, twisted and mixed up together by me.
