As a guide, when I'm busking most people will chuck in £1 (~ 70c) and hear one song. I let you decide what you think 10 songs is worth.

about

With the exception of Carolina in the Morning, which came out in 1922, all of these songs are more than 90 years old. They're from the decade of the first world war, the corresponding decade in the 20th Century to the one we're entering now.

I feel like I've known them all my life, they feel like they're part of me. But I know that I'm a bit odd and I hope you enjoy being introduced to those you don't know as well as those that are more familiar.

credits

released 08 October 2010
All of the songs on this album were published in the USA before 1922 and are therefore in the Public Domain.

The writers are credited on each individual track - that information is from wikipedia - if I've got it wrong, that where I got it from :)

I'm grateful to the power of the internet for help finding the chords and lyrics that put me straight on a few things.
